On May 17, 2022, a book was published called, The Fourth Man: The Hunt for a KGB Spy at the Top of the CIA and the Rise of Putin’s Russia by author and former CIA officer Robert Baer. The book disingenuously implies that the so-called “fourth man” is Paul Redmond. The accusation is outrageous and below are articles and statements by numerous retired senior CIA officials who refute the allegations made in this book—which many intelligence officers conclude should have never been written.
