Testimony for House Homeland Security Subcommittee

As the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Information Analysis, Paul Redmond spoke before the House Homeland Security Subcommittee held a hearing on Bioterrorism Threats on June 5, 2003.

Witnesses testified about potential government responses to a biological terrorist attack, the potential for such attack, and levels of preparedness. They also talked about a proposed “bio-shield” program and stockpiling medical supplies in the event of an attack.
